Continuing the trend from the 2008 presidential election season, CNN has once again turned to the Perception Analyzer by Dialsmith to gauge real-time reactions to candidates' speeches following the NH primaries.

Focus group respondents in South Carolina were given Perception Analyzer dials and asked to give continuous feedback during Mitt Romney's victory speech and the other candidates' concession speeches. Feedback was represented as lines drawing across the bottom of the screen.
